Farewell to the Old Gunships FOREVER (IDC RAW)

Alright, there are two cards which I think defeated the goal of trying to revive older cards: The Assault Gunship (AG) pretty much supplants the Republic Attack Gunship (RAG), which I was hoping to be able to play again. Not that I don't like AG, but it would have been nice to WANT to to play RAG. This card defeats the purpose of Republic Command Gunship (RCG), which was clearly originally meant to make the older Gunships playable again, but with AG, who would want to? Republic Gunship Squadron (RGS) is WAYYY undercosted. Nice to have, but pretty much dominating for its cost. Once again, it defeats the reason for the RCG, and RCG just ends up compounding the effectiveness of RGS. Who would want to play Republic LAAT/i Gunship when you have RGS? If this didn't have the Gunship subtype, it might not have been so bad (or is that good? See, now you have me confused).I like these cards, but because of them, I'll never be able to play any of the older Gunships ever again without playing a draft game.At least I still have my Walkers. Oh, wait, those are supplanted by these gunships, too! At least THAT doesn't have to be permanent if we're given some better synergy for them in the future. I was really looking forward to being able to play the old Gunships and Walkers, but now it doesn't look like I'll have that privilege without sacrificing better cards or playing in the rare draft. For being the most exciting set for me, due to this issue, it's now the most disappointing for having raised my hopes and dashed them.

my thoughts, some cards that are OP (over powered)
Anakin Skywalker (Q) way to good for 6 build maybe at 7 obuild, shuilds and parry ? that is just a little to much for me maybe Parry 1 or only 1+ power, or one less power or health

General Grievous (E) see below

cards that MIGHT end up being restricted

General Grievous (E) way to powerful with 4 things on him he will have about 14+ power and can attack 4 times ?? way OP

wicked awesome cards that are sweet and maybe a little OP

Commerce Guild Droid Line with 4 of these your droids will have 8+ heath SWEET
General Grievous (F) not being able to prevent damage NICE
Ilum Temple Nice just nice
Aayla Secura (C) way good abilities for 5 build
Geonosian Starfighter Swarm I just like it =D
Kenobi's Clone Army (A) Jedi subtype SWEET
Separatist Starfighter Squadron dang sweet ability
Republic Command Gunship sweet abilities
Ki-Adi-Mundi (C)

Battle for Naboo

So I have been sick and busy (mainly busy), for the last 2 months and so here are 2 new preview cards for the Battle of Naboo (BofN) set. (Thanks to Mannof for making the card image's)




















First we have Anakin's N-1 Starfighter the starfighter that destroyed the Droid Control Ship, that the Trade Federation used on Naboo, he saved the entire Gungan grand army, and the world of naboo.





















Now we come to the Droid Control Ship this card shows the might of the Trade Federation, it will be a key in new Trade federation decks and gives a big bonus for your droid's

For 1000 years their has been peace in the Republic but it is on the edge of WAR the Trade Federation has set up a blockade of the planet Naboo and the Sith are emerging from their long absents, the Chancellor has sent two Jedi to help make peace but hope is small. Will you help the Jedi restore Peace or will you aid the Sith in the down fall of the Jedi and the creation of an EMPIRE!!

We have a Spring 2008 release planned.

Based on Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, this 120-card expansion introduces the following features:

• New Ability: Deflector shields X, (When this unit is attacked, prevent X damage and do that much Damage the attacking unit.)
• Qui-Gon Jinn - four different versions
• And Podracer units
• More Gungans and Droids
• Player made Dream cards too!

Revenge of the Sith - Part 1 - Confrontation at Utapau, Scenario decks by OWJ

"OK, so here it is...I did my best matching images from the movies. Where an image didn't match the movie, the character or unit does. Overall, there's no mistake it has a Utapau feel to it.

Obi and Grevious will be able to battle in the character and ground arenas (piloting boga and the Wheelbike respectively). I used Syncronized Systems for the dark side as all of their characters are droids. So it was a good fit. Grievous will be able to acquire equipment from defeated characters. There are 8 equipment cards also. Grievous will pick up the equipment laying around."
